Life is beautiful when we have a destiny, hope and faith towards the Almighty God. Each one of us would have faced critical crises, unacceptable situations, heartbreaking incidents or total failures in life. One might find it extremely difficult to overcome such hurdles. This is my humble effort to share an incident in my life where I came face to face with God, feeling the warmth of His divine love and providence. I wish my brothers and sisters could get the faith to overcome their own challenges in life through this book.
"A Few Days With My God and My Angel" is a brief, though straight from the heart, description of the fifty six days which we spent in the hospital with our nineteen months old son Steve, thus changing our very perspective of life but left our faith unshaken. Here I am trying to explain my understanding on the depth of personal relation which God maintains with each one of us. The incidents written in this book may be painful, but my intention is not to make the reader feel the pathos or to make one look back at us in pity, instead one should be able to look past the mortal pain and sufferings to understand the intricate and mysterious ways in which God cares. I only want to share the love and support I felt from my God and I want to share how my prayers strengthened my faith. The pages that follow are extracts from my life and will reveal to you how I came to know the love and care of my God...

The story is heart wrenching and heartwarming and will bring tears to even the hardest and critical person. Highly recommended read as an insight into the power of prayers and faith.

This is a true story and told through the voice of a father. For sure, the title given is a great mix for its inside story. And what a phenomenal tale it is! I found this to be a very warm, heartbreaking, breathtaking, touching, precious, emotional, and striking story. One of a father’s will to push through to victory as his child fights to overcome a toxic disease. Through one’s faith and love of one’s child this story unfolds to open many eyes and hearts as the reader travels alongside the author’s journey.
When it’s all said and done, there is definitely a message behind the story that we as a people must take heed. If you've unbelieving of the power of what our Maker can do, then you definitely need to read what’s inside these pages. There is nothing more precious or powerful than giving a life and having to watch it called back, from whence it came.
Although it may be difficult to overcome our many triumphs put in our path, the best defeat for toxicity is to let it go! And when we can, surely those actions make you a Winner. And to this author I say . . . thanks for sharing your precious experiences.

This isn't the kind of book I can adequately critique, so I won't. It's very sad, and I really felt for the family and the loss of their precious little one. But I do want to alert non-Catholic readers that, although the book isn't listed under "Roman Catholicism," the faith the father speaks of isn't just faith in God and the Bible (though the father did lean heavily on that), but also faith in the Holy Eucharist, praying the rosary, and other religious practices. I didn't realize that before I downloaded it.
